The Hydrogen-Catalysis Lab led by Prof. Xu Zhao is located in the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). We are devoted to doing comprehensive research in electrocatalytic hydrogen-conversion technologies. We focus on establishing the atomic/orbital structure-performance relationship over metal-based electrocatalysts for fuel cell, water electrolysis, and coupled C1 molecule transformation.
We are always looking for talented and passionate students and postdocs. Candidates with multidisciplinary backgrounds from chemistry, chemical engineering, physics and material science are welcomed. We look forward to exploring together in our lab!
